Two engineers, no middlemen
Soldadura y Calidad was founded by two International Welding Technologists with a track record on demanding projects. You always deal with the engineer doing the work, with no layers in between.
We come from environments where the margin for error is zero: process plants, the petrochemical industry and critical structures. That experience is exactly what we bring to the table.
Our expertise covers the full technical cycle, from reading metallurgical diagrams and controlling phase balance through to document management and dealing with client inspection. We work with carbon steels, stainless steels, duplex grades and special alloys, in pressure equipment, pipework and structures.
We hold ISO 9712 certification in non-destructive testing, which means we do not only carry out and coordinate the work: we interpret and validate the results ourselves, without depending on a third party to decide.
We are not a fabrication shop and we are not a staffing agency. We are the technical backing that sits between what the project requires and what the supply chain actually delivers.
How we work
We start by understanding the requirement, not by selling hours. In the first conversation we will tell you whether your problem is solved with a site visit, with a document package or with a change of procedure, even if sometimes the answer is that you do not need us.
