Inspection and test plan
We develop the ITP for the project: hold points, extent of testing, acceptance criteria and the standard applicable to each joint. The client knows from day one what is inspected, when, and against what criteria.
Procedures and process control
We apply the requirements of EN ISO 3834, EN ISO 15614, EN ISO 9606 and ASME IX so that every joint is made under a qualified procedure. Without valid procedures there is no compliant weld, however good the bead looks.
Traceable document management
We produce and maintain WPSs, PQRs, welding records, material and consumable certificates and test reports, linked so that any joint on the drawing can be traced to its test and its welder.
Supervision on site or in the shop
Control is not only documentary. We supervise parameters, preheat and interpass temperature, consumable handling and baking, and ambient conditions, so that deviations are caught before they become defects.
Non-conformities with technical judgement
When a deviation appears we treat it seriously: root cause analysis, a reasoned repair proposal or rejection, and follow-up through to close-out. Our ISO 9712 certification means we can evaluate test results ourselves.
Dealing with inspection
We speak directly to the client's inspector, the engineering firm or the notified body. Both sides using the same technical language shortens approval times more than anything else.
